AS-Level Dance Classes

October 2008 has seen the start of a new evening AS-Level course in Dance. The class runs on a Thursday evening 5:00-6:30pm and on a Friday evening 4:30-6:00pm.

The class runs alongside the AQA guidelines and all students work towards gaining their AS-Level qualification in Dance.

The course is open to any person aged 16 and over and is aimed at any individual who is unable to take Dance within the mainstream educational curriculum for any reason. Some students might want to take AS Level Dance as an extra course on top of their eduction, while others might find that Dance is not available at their current school/college. Others may find that the timetabling is not flexible enough in order to incorporate all of their chosen subjects. It is also open to any adult wishing to take dancing to the next level, or to simply gain a qualification for personal reasons.

The cost of this course for the 2008/2009 year is £345, which includes all tuition at three hours per week and the entry fees into the exams. This price may increase slightly in 2009/2010.
