‘Bearilliant' Fundraising!
At the end of the summer term, the Junior School raised over £1000 by wearing mufti and bringing their teddy bears to school to raise funds for ‘action medical research'.
The girls also made a suitcase out of card modelled on the one Paddington uses to carry all his belongings in, including his marmalade sandwiches. The girls were sponsored to see how many small items they could get into Paddington's suitcase which helped the girls raise this tremendous amount of money. There was also a prize for the best decorated suitcase.
In assembly last week, the Junior School was presented with a plaque for raising a grand total of £1 350.17.
Thank you to Mrs Weltz for organising this fund raising event and a huge thank you to all the girls and their sponsors.
