Pinky Week by Allie Hill & Kimberley Clifton
Pinky Week proved to be a thoroughly successful charity fundraiser. Everyone enjoyed taking part - whether it was participating in the games, doing a sponsored swim or silence, or baking cakes for the cake sale, we all had a part in helping.
The whole school's enthusiasm for the whole week is reflected in the amazing amount of money that we managed to raise.
The L5s had great fun organising (and taking part in!) a few "traditional" games such as Lucky Dip, and Guess the Name of the Bear, as well as selling cakes on the Friday. We were all very proud to raise much more money than originally expected!
As well as that, half of Lower 4 took part in a Swimathon. The girls involved swam the amount of lengths they wanted to swim of the school pool and then got friends and family to sponsor them. The Swimathon was a big success and we raised more than £300.
