Farewell Bedford High School Reunions - 2011

Since the announcement of the merger between Bedford High School for Girls and Dame Alice Harpur School we have received lots of requests for farewell Bedford High School reunions. To give everyone the opportunity to visit their old school one last time, to take in the atmosphere, reminisce and rekindle old friendships, we have arranged to hold decade reunions during the spring and summer terms of 2011. We hope that as many of you as possible will take the opportunity to come along to at least one reunion. Do let as many friends as possible know that they are happening as we would like these to be the biggest and best yet!

2011 Reunion Dates are:

    1960 - 1969       12 March
    1970 - 1979       26 March
    1980 - 1989       30 April
    1990 - 1999         7 May
    2000 - 2010       21 May
    Up to 1949        11 June
    1950 - 1959       25 June

Future Reunion Events - We very much welcome your thoughts and ideas for future Alumnae reunion events. Please contact the Development office at the School who have offered to coordinate events and reunions both in and outside the school.

A performance of Monteverdi's Vespers of 1610, given by Bedford School Choral Society and Bedford High School Chapel Choir.

Choral and Orchestral Concert
7.30pm in the Main Hall
Works with excerpts from major Choral and Orchestral works.  Bedford High School Orchestra, Sinfonia and Choral Society will be joined by Kettering Camerata.
Admission £5.00
Tickets will be available in advance from the school or at the door.

Guild Biennial - Saturday 8 May 2010
Service, 10.30am - 11.15am in the Main Hall
Chapel Choir will sing at this Biennial Service - all are welcome.
The Biennial lunch will be served in Trinity Dining Hall and needs to be booked in advance.  Details and booking form available in your 2010 copy of the Guild Leaflet.
