Friday Development Squad

Friday Development Squad continues on from the Saturday Swimming Lessons. All swimmers that have completed all of the levels within the Saturday Swimming Lessons are invited to join the Friday Development Squad, as well as other swimmers with good technique of all swimming strokes.

The Squad is aimed at children between the ages of 8 and 18 years old and takes place every Friday evening during term-time between 6:00-7:00pm.

The Friday Development Squad is run by experienced teachers and gives all swimmers the opportunity to improve on their swimming technique and fitness. The emphasis of the Friday Development Squad is very much non-competitive. We believe that not all children want to join competitive swimming clubs, but instead to continue swimming at a high level in a relaxed informal environment. As well as continuing stroke development, swimmers also learn some water sports including water-polo.
