Holiday Activity Courses

Bedford High Sports and Performing Arts Complex have holiday courses designed for children to keep them entertained during the holidays.

Holiday activity courses are a fun and enjoyable way for children to meet new friends, or just meet up with friends they already have, in a safe, energetic and informal environment. The holiday activity courses are open to boys and girls from the age of six years.

Multi Activity Weeks
Drop your child off for the whole day with our multi activity club. Activities will change every two hours ensuring that your child doesn't get bored. Activities include fun swimming, fun trampoline, parachute games, arts and crafts, football, board games, outdoor games and more. We have flexible drop off options; bring your child for 2 hours, 4 hours, the full day or full week. Early drop off and late collection is also available for an extra cost.

Street Dance
Three groups for different age groups. Ranging from 6-12 years your child will learn some cool dance moves and routines in a group environment, a great way to build confidence and make new friends while getting some exercise.

Bedford's Got Talent
A take on the ever popular TV programme Britain's Got Talent, children will build confidence, make new friends, sing songs, perform dance routines and magic tricks and entertain each other while judges will be selected to vote for the best act.

Trampoline
Two groups, based on different levels that will improve your child's balance and coordination on the trampoline as well as learning new moves as a group.

Beginners: suitable for children who have little or no experience of the trampoline or want to gain confidence with basic jumps.

Intermediates: more suitable for children who have experience of trampoline, who have mastered the basic jumps and feel confident on the trampoline to learn more challenging moves and jumps in a group environment.

Arts & Crafts Workshop
A great course for creative children. Each day will bring a new project taught by our arty assistant where children can work on daily projects and improve their creative skills while working as a group. All materials are provided.

High Performance Youth Theatre Group
Each day the children will be learning about different elements of theatre and musicals and how they can be performed. Children will be practising their acting, singing and dancing skills and improving their techniques and with a bonus at the end of the week parents are welcome to come and watch a performance done by the children. Great for self confidence and making new friends.

Michael Jackson Experience
Working in a group environment children will learn dance routines and songs from the King Of Pop and can try and recreate their own Michael Jackson look if they have suitable clothes from their own wardrobe to show the group.
