Cranwell Competition
This year, Bedford School's Combined Cadet Force RAF section put together a team of thirteen to take part in the annual Ground Training Competition held at RAF Cranwell.
The team was to compete against fourteen other Combined Cadet Forces from our area and the winning team would go forward to the National Final held in March to win the Air Squadron Trophy.
The competition consisted of seven elements: RAF Knowledge, Air Recognition, Drill, Shooting, First Aid, a Fitness Test and a command task.
Three of the team members, Emma D'souza, Elizabeth Margereson and Olivia Phelps, were selected from BHSG to take part.
The day was a great success, and the team worked very hard to gain a respectable fourth place. Great job guys!
