IB Welcome Evening - Tuesday, 30 June
On Tuesday 30 June, from 5.00pm, we will be hosting a welcome to the IB Diploma Evening.
This will provide an opportunity to hear about some of the specific requirements, examine previous students work and to talk with students currently doing the Diploma.
We believe that this evening will develop your understanding of the practical implications of the IB. You can read through an Extended Essay, examine some Theory of Knowledge work, and enjoy a Group 4 Presentation and World Literature assignment.
You will be able to discuss the requirements of the CAS programme and look through student journals. There will be a brief introduction, but the opportunity is for you to explore ideas with Heads of Departments and subject teachers.
This evening presents an excellent opportunity to get ahead of the game. I know that for many students the post GCSE honeymoon may be about to begin, this evening may be the perfect way to launch it!
For others, they may be considering options for the future. Whatever the case, we look forward to welcoming you along to discover what the IB Diploma has to offer.
The session will begin at 5pm and close officially at 6.30pm although, I will be happy to carry on answering questions after this time.
