Despite the challenging conditions, our athletes shone at the East Area Prep School’s Athletics Championships on Friday 7^th June at the Bedford International Athletics Stadium.

As always, this event is extremely competitive with 52 schools vying for spots in the National Finals, which take place at Birmingham’s Alexander Stadium on Monday 1^st July.   

There was incredibly stiff competition throughout the day. However, BGS performed brilliantly with seven athletes qualifying for the prestigious Nationals. 

Congratulations to all who competed; there were also many other notable performances and Personal Bests from those who weren't successful in being selected for the Nationals.
