Open Days
Although our website and prospectus will give you a good overview of our school, we would very much encourage you and your daughter to visit us and meet our pupils and staff. You will then be able to really find out more about us, and how it would feel to be a pupil here. You can attend our open mornings, come along for a personal visit, or your daughter can join us for a taster day when she can experience a day as a BHSG pupil.
We had two open mornings this year:

If you were unable to attend these dates, or would like to find out more about Bedford High School for Girls, you are very welcome to contact us to arrange a personal visit or taster day.
Personal Visits
We know that parents really appreciate the opportunity of looking around the school on a normal working day, and the visit will include a meeting with our Headmistress and a tour by one or two of our pupils. This will give you an opportunity to focus on your daughter's needs and gain an in-depth knowledge of how we can meet them.
Taster Days
If your daughter would like to experience a day as a BHSG pupil and find out first hand what it's really like to be a pupil at our school, then the taster day provides this opportunity. She will be able to sit in in classes, meet current pupils and staff. Current pupils have found it extremely helpful and reassuring.
