Parties and Celebrations

Birthday Parties and Celebrations have become increasingly popular over the last two years at Bedford High Sports and Performing Arts Complex. Celebrations have included football parties, swimming pool parties and discos; all using the Sports and Performing Arts Complex facilities.

Although all bookings are completely flexible to the needs of the individual, most parties choose a similar structure of one hour of activity followed by one hour of party food and games. The flexibility of the bookings means that specific groups, sizes, ages and interests can be catered for. External entertainment can be brought in during the celebrations, for example clowns, discos, football coaches etc. (at the hirer's expense) and food can be ordered to be delivered directly to the Sports and Performing Arts Complex.

For swimming pool parties we have two options available to the hirer. All bookings automatically include qualified lifeguards throughout the pool booking who will supervise all pool users. If you wish to have an extra lifeguard on duty who will organise games and activities for the party this can also be arranged at an extra cost. We also hire the Sports Hall for activities such as football, netball, volleyball and short tennis. Most parties then move to the Theatre where tables and chairs are arranged for food and party games.
