Extra Curricular Activities

With a vast range of different clubs and activities on offer we endeavour to meet everyone's needs and interests to encourage the development of new skills and to acquire new interests, which may be life-long.  

Activities take place at lunchtime, after school and at weekends.  As well as sports, music, dance, drama and languages, our girls may become involved in a range of community based activities or help to raise money for one of the School's chosen charities.  

Girls may participate in the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme which encourages a range of activities including service and expedition. For many, this is their first experience not only of camping, but also of the need to carry all of their own belongings!  

The Combined Cadet Force, representing all three Services and organised jointly with Bedford School, is another popular option. Both of these activities will provide new and exciting challenges which help our girls to develop her sense of responsibility and leadership and learn important team building skills whilst enjoying the company of their friends.

We have a very active PE department who will encourage your daughter to participate in their varied extra curricular sports during lunchtimes and evenings.
