CCF: Sailing, Shooting and Leaping
Death defying leaps, sharp shooting and sailing skills were the order of the weekend as the RAF and RN sections of the CCF visited RAF Wittering in early March.
The facilities at Wittering and nearby Rutland water were excellent with many cadets learning new skills on the water and honing their shooting on the laser range facility that showed exactly where we were going wrong and in some cases going right!
Cadets faced their fears on the high ropes course with some managing the "Leap of Faith" Barnum and Bailey style on to a high level trapeze. 
The weekend was made even better with warm portcabin accommodation and delicious mess food making a difference from bashas and Rat Packs.
The Saturday was topped off with ten pin bowling competitions at Wittering Bowl.
All in all a fantastic weekend!
