Marie Curie Swimathon 17th April 2010
This year the Bedford High Sports and Performing Arts Complex is hosting its first Marie Curie Swimathon event.
The event, raising much needed funds to help those with cancer and carers of cancer sufferers, will take place on Saturday 17th April 2010. We will be holding two sessions on the day, one 9-12pm and the other 1-4pm.
The event is open to individual swimmers and teams, with a choice between 1.5km (60 lengths), 2.5km (100 lengths) and 5km (200 lengths). You decide how long you think you will take to complete the challenge, but it is not a race so you can take as long as you like (up to the maximum three hours).
