Welcome to Bedford High School for Girls where academic excellence and happy pupils are equally important goals. By providing a supportive and caring environment, every girl is able to develop her talents, achieve her potential and leave us as a confident young woman ready to take her place in society.

Opportunities abound throughout the school, whether in the range of musical, sporting, dramatic or extracurricular activities on offer, or the chance to choose from an impressive variety of subjects at Key Stage 3 and GCSE as well as the choice at Sixth Form level between two pre-University qualification pathways - traditional GCE A level or the universally acclaimed International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme.

Our website can only offer a glimpse of our world and I would like to invite you and your daughter to one of our Open Days so that you can meet the girls and staff who make Bedford High School for Girls such a special and vibrant place. If you are unable to visit us on one of these occasions, our Registrar will be happy to arrange an alternative visit for you and your daughter.
