A Level & IB Results
This year's A level and IB results have yet again been a cause for celebrations. The new A* grade, designed to pick out the highest performers at A level and set a similar standard to the 7 points in the IB, has been achieved by 16% of A level candidates - in line with our IB level 7 candidates this year.
Overall 33% of the A level girls achieved at least one A* grade and Jay Man celebrated her Cambridge place with a clean sweep of 4 A*s. Two other girls achieved 3 A* and 26% of girls achieved either 3 A*/A or 6/7 points in the IB Diploma.
48% grades were A*/A or IB levels 6/7 and 76% of our Upper 6 students achieved the equivalent of A*/B. In the IB four girls were awarded bi-lingual Diplomas and overall 3 girls achieved their Cambridge places this year.
Overall an excellent performance and one which is amongst our best in the last 5 years; I am, as ever, immensely proud of all the girls and their achievements.
