Lessons from Auschwitz Project

Two girls in Lower VI, Rosie Bayfield and Temi Mayuku, took part in the 'Lessons from Auschwitz Project' organised by the Holocaust Memorial Trust.
It is a project especially for Sixth Form students and their teachers and involved attending two seminars and a day trip to Poland to visit the Auschwitz I and Aushwitz-Birkenau Nazi Concentration camps. There are two sites, the latter is the notorious extermination camp.
The two students found the day very interesting and emotional experience. It was definitely an experience of a lifetime.
