Pink Week for Breast Cancer
One in three women will be affected by breast cancer in their lifetime. This is why Bedford High School for Girls is proud to support Breast Cancer week.
This is one of our annual highlights in the charities calendar and all who participate have an excellent time raising money for a cause which we feel is very worthwhile.
The week supplied the opportunity for a range of activities to be held. These ranged from sponsored swims to people wearing something pink to school.
The week was a fantastic success and every penny counted.
Lower Four was particularly active and our thanks go to them for all the hard work they did.
The overall amount raised came to just under £500 but with money still pouring in from all corners of the school we are hoping to hit that £500 mark.
