Summer Jazz!
Last week the Music Society held Summer Jazz, the concert of the year, on Wednesday 23rd June in Wimborne Grange's garden. Reminiscent of a festival without the mud, the evening saw lovely weather in the marquee and the garden. Girls from across the school performed together in the informal concert alongside members of staff, old girls and even two token boys!
The free concert had an audience of over 100 people - the best yet for the year old Music Society - and everyone was entertained with a high standard of music and a very good time. A collection for one of the school charities, Keech Cottage Hospice, raised £162.56, highlighting the success of the evening.
Huge thanks must go to all performers, audience members, and everyone behind the scenes, especially the residents of Wimborne for being so kind and letting their garden out for the evening!
