OB Careers Fair 2008
20 February saw the second OB Careers Fair staged at Bedford School, when 45 successful Old Bedfordians and parents shared their career knowledge and experience with today's young Bedfordians. For the first time this year, members of Bedford High also contributed their expertise to the event.
This year's Careers Fair built on the success of the 2007 event and was attended by over 250 students from Bedford School and Bedford High. It featured careers in forensic science, theatre, architecture and TV news reporting as well as finance, investment banking, law, engineering, medicine and many others and was a wonderful opportunity for students to talk to a community of ‘people in the know'.
Our sincere thanks go to the Old Bedfordians Club for setting up this event, and to OBs, parents and BHSG old girls for giving so generously of their time and experience.
