Successful Art Students
Toni Hollowood in Upper 6 is to be congratulated on receiving an unconditional offer to join Kingston University's Foundation Art Course.
Kingston have also asked Toni for permission to use her portfolio to demonstrate to students applying to them the standard that is expected. Obviously Toni, her parents and our Art Department are delighted to receive this kind of feedback.
Our Art Department helps to prepare art students for their Foundation Course (the pre degree course that most art students undertake prior to specialising in their chosen area of art) by helping to construct portfolios, advising on entry and even interviewing students.
Other art students have been offered places at Northampton and Wimbledon, with some interviews still taking place.
Many congratulations also to Leslie Harris in Upper 6 who has been offered a place on a Graphic Design degree straight from school, skipping the Foundation Course.
